Another welcome candidate for the Perfectly Plain Sweater Cup. There is absolutely no waist or arm or sleeve cap shaping, and though the back neck does have a decided dip, the shoulders are straight. So it’s a traditional drop shoulder with flat sleeve tops. The welts (ribbings at waist, cuffs, and neck) are perhaps a little deeper than usual, and the neck seems a little wider. There is a tiny detail at the welts of a little st st roll before the ribbing actually gets underway; it makes the look very modern, but not really less plain.
