Swedish Vines
Swedish Vines gloves use an old graph from Jämtland, Sweden. They are knit in the round on double point needles using a chart and written instructions. Different sizes may be obtained by changing the gauge/needle size and/or using a different weight yarn. You will need 50 grams each of two highly contrasting colors to best showcase your stranded knitting. These gloves may be knit as fingerless mitts, fingerless gloves or as gloves with full fingers.
Skills needed:
knitting in the round
experience with stranded colorwork knitting
familiarity with following a chart for stranded colorwork
use of dpns
