Got scrap yarn? Use it to make this sweet little tote. Spiral motifs
are worked in scrap yarn, a border added in another yarn, and blocks are sewn together to make this windmill bag. Add a handle and you are ready to carry a small project with you. The finished bag measured 9” wide (18” around) x 9” long laid flat (not including handles). You’ll need 132 of worsted weight yarn for the 12 spirals (about 11 yards each) and 85 yards of another color for the border and to assemble the bag. It’s easy to make it larger by making more blocks in multiples of 4. Use any weight of yarn by changing the hook size to suit the yarn. The 4 page pattern has written instructions and a crochet chart.
