Sweet Grass is inspired by the wispy stalks of wild sweet grass that grow in eastern Washington. They dance back and forth in the gentle winds that sweep across the landscape.

Poncho is worked in the round from the top down. Beginning with a loose-fitting ribbed cowl, the poncho grows outward using yarnover increases. Contrasting stripes are worked on an effortless stockinette background. The simple design is elevated by a narrow 6-stitch cable in the main color running along both sides of the poncho. The cables can be worn down the center of the body or along the shoulders.
