Knitted without waist shaping from the bottom hem, the body-skimming bolero starts with ribbing then goes into the lace stitch pattern and is worked up to the armholes. The sleeves are knitted separately from the cuff up, then added to the body to knit the final yoke. Ribbing finishes the ballet neckline to create a polished and sturdy edge.

From the Book
A charming little lace top, this would be as at home over a pair of jeans and camisole as it would be dressing up a sleeveless cocktail dress. The repeating lace pattern, echoed in the sleeves, decreases in pattern creating an elegantly diminishing yoke.
