The Sweet Spring Blanket design puts me in mind of the fresh, crisp Spring days on their way. It was inspired by the patterns and colours of our favourite retro sweets.

This tapestry crochet pattern includes written instructions, together with a tapestry crochet chart and supporting photographs.

The blanket featured in the photographs is made using Stylecraft Special Aran in the following shades and a 5mm hook:
Yarn A: Cream 1005 x 2 balls
Yarn B: Pale Rose 1080 x 2 balls
Yarn C: Sage 1725 x 3 balls

The surface crochet lines were added using Paintbox Aran in shade Pistachio Green (224).
