This heel is worked over 2/3 of the stitches. You make several wedges (typically between 2 and 4 depending on the fit needed).

The heel can accommodate a larger foot and instep because of the 2/3 stitches. While it may look a lot like a short row heel, it definitely fits roomier than a standard short row heel.
