DESCRIPTION
The Sweet Whispers Tee is a top down sweater, worked in the round with flutter sleeves and a simple lace body stitch. A scallop edge trim adds to the sweetness of this design and the allover lace gives this tee a light and airy feel that would be perfect for warmer weather.
This sweater tee starts at the scalloped neck trim with short rows and gathering added at the top of shoulder to give the sleeves that fun, fluttery shape. All over lace stitch is worked in the round until you split at the underarm. Once the sleeve stitches are placed on hold, the body is worked in the round in the same lace stitch pattern until you bind off at the hem trim with a rib or a scallop edge. The sleeve stitches are then picked up with few rows added for a short sleeve length then finished with a scallop edge stitch bind off.
Video tutorials are available for all these finishes.
