Sweet Winfield
Sweet smocking! Smocking is so fun to do and the result so pretty you love knitting Sweet Winfield. For the sample I used Sweet Paprika Winfield a nice “wooly” wool with great stitch definition. It is locally sourced, spun and hand-dyed in Canada.

Gauge: 17 sts and 25 rnds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch on larger needles.
Notes: This sweater has a circular yoke and is constructed from the top down in one piece. Short-row and raglan shaping are worked after the yoke pattern is complete. The pullover is modeled with slight positive ease, but the design will work well with either positive or negative ease. There is no body shaping past the armholes but waist shaping may be easily added. The sleeves and body can easily be lengthened by adding more rounds.
