These pretty socks are a fun project, with enough going on to make you want to press on to the next step without being so tricky that you set it aside for a quiet moment (the point at which, in my experience, most projects stall!).

Knitted in the lovely new eco-friendly biodegradable sock yarn from Kremke, the jolly colours add a fun pop to the feminine eyelet sitch, whilst at the same time affording a slight nod to the traditional school socks which we all wore and loved!

They look great using just one shade throughout, but I opted for a pretty contrast edging and highlight toe (mainly so that I have the excuse to make another pair of socks in the opposite colourway wih the yarn that’s left!).
