The Sweetie Sweater is a modern, easy, fast-knit pattern, for knitters of all levels. Inspired by the 80’s, this is a modern batwing cropped shape, perfect for wearing over dresses, skirts or jeans. It is knit in garter stitch from the bottom up, in two pieces (front and back), with stockinette stitch heart detail on the front. Large sleeves can be worn long or folded up. Separate detailed instructions, row by row, for each size, make it extremely simple to follow.

Using chunky weight yarn and US 13/ 9mm needles, can be made in a day. Light weight and lovely over any outfit.

About the designer: I have a passion for knitting, starting age 5 with my grandma, particularly children’s knits since having my two girls. After recently moving to Johannesburg from London, I decided to write patterns and help local people. For every 10 patterns sold, One Mitt will donate a 10x10cm square to the Nelson Mandela ‘67 Blankets’ campaign, for those most in need of warmth and handknitted love.
