Pattern Shawl Swimmingpool
Design: Bettina Wienecke
The shawl „Swimmingpool“ is the second one out of our cocktail series. It is a triangular shawl with increases on one side, the other side is knitted without increases.

At the beginning of the shawl you have to concentrate on a lace pattern. After a few rows this lace pattern certainly becomes self-explanatory. In the wrong side rows you knit all stitches as they appear and have time to relax.

As the shawl developes you‘ll have to knit effects of slipstitch knitting and finally there is another lace pattern which can be knitted easily.

As colours for this shawl we chose some that remind you of caribean beaches and the cocktail called „Swimmingpool“.

The shawl is worked with Pascuali Bayak, which consists of 75% yak wool and 25% viscose made of cotton cellulose. The yardage is 163 m for 50 g.

After washing and stretching the shawl will have a final length of approx. 180 cm and a width of approx. 100 cm.

The kit contains the appropriate amount of Pascuali Bayak in the shown colour combinations. You need 3 colours, 2 skeins of the starting colour and respectively 1 skein of colour 2 and 3. You also need a circular needle 4 mm/US 6 (or according to gauge).
