Every time the weather starts cooling off, I find myself wishing for a warm wool skirt to wear over my leggings. This year, I decided to design one myself using my favorite color-changing method: the drop & swap. Swirled is the perfect skirt for a warm and comforting hug when the air turns chilly. The ribbing, worked on the bias, falls into the perfect swirl all by itself, and the eyelet waistband makes it easy to add a drawstring for the perfect waist fit. This skirt works up in no time in Aran yarn, and I bet it will quickly become your favorite wardrobe item!

Stitches: Ch, sl st, sc dc, dcblo, dc2tog blo
Yarn: WeCrochet Muse Aran (114 yards/100g) #5 Aran; “Focus Tonal (MC)” and “Gregarious Speckle (CC)”
Hook: J/10 (6mm)
Sizes: S (M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL)
Designed for hips: 34 (38, 42, 46, 50, 54)” (worn with 8-10” negative ease)
Waist at rest: 24 (28, 32, 36, 40, 44)” Length: 22”
This skirt is made to hug your body. At rest, it will seem too small. This is normal. The bias ridges offer a lot of stretch.
