Named after my toddler’s favorite activity, the pants are super comfy for a little person’s busy life! Simple in its design and knitting, the pants are knit top down. Easy to put on and take off and no buttons or cords to deal with, these pants are sure to become your little one’s favorite. The pants have plenty of room in the rear for a diaper, and the swirly design on the sides add a touch of style to make them worthy of being called fancy pants!

Sizes: 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 2-3 years, 4-5 years

Needles: US 4 and 5, 3.5mm and 3.75mm

Skills required: provisional cast-on, German short rows, making increases and decreases, circular knitting, magic loop knitting, Kitchener stitch.

Yarn: Brooklyn Tweed Arbor, Quince and Co Lark, Drops Karisma, Drops Cotton Merino, Patons Classic Wool Worsted (any woolly yarn in DK or Worsted will work well)

Yardage: 270 (340, 390, 435, 480) yards

Notions: tapestry needle, stitch markers, and 3/4” 2 cm wide elastic band
