2-in-1 pattern set for both the scarf and beanie!

The Sydney Scarf and Beanie pattern is suitable for the beginner crocheter. You will make a rectangle scarf and beanie working flat in rows. The beanie is simply folded and sewn together.
This scarf and beanie set is perfect for the winter months to keep you warm and cosy and it also makes a beautiful gift for women or men. Keep warm and cosy with the Sydney Scarf & Beanie.

This pattern is made using super chunky yarn but it is very easy to adjust the pattern to any yarn weight, however please make sure to use the correct hook size for the yarn that you choose.

YARN: Super chunky, #5 weight

YARN USED IN THIS PATTERN
Quality: Umami Tweed by Hobbii
Shade: Gray Marble (03)
Fiber content: 75% Premium Acrylic, 22% Wool, 3% Viscose
1 ball of Umami Tweed is 150g, 90yd (83m), this pattern requires 5 balls to make the set.

YARDAGE (total yardage required for set is 405yd)
Beanie: Approx. 109yd (100m)
Scarf: Approx. 296yd (271m)

TOOLS NEEDED
Hook size USA 13 (metric 9mm)
Scissors
Large darning needle
Faux fur pom-pom (optional)

FINISHED SIZE (ADULT)
Beanie: 12” (30cm) height measured from top of crown to edge (excl. pom pom) x 18” (46cm)
circumference around opening edge (stretches to fit 22” circumference).
Scarf: 74” (188cm) length x 9” (23cm) width.
