Designed to flatter all sizes, Sylven is a go-to piece for warmer days—light, breathable, and endlessly wearable. Whether paired with a flowing skirt or your favorite jeans, this tee is sure to become a cherished staple in your handknit collection!

CONSTRUCTION
Sylven is worked from the top down. First, the back yoke is worked back and forth until the underarm while shaping the shoulders using short rows. Then, stitches are picked up to work the front shoulders. The shoulders are joined by casting on stitches for the front neck, and the front yoke is worked to the underarm, where the front and back are joined to work the body in the round.
For the sleeves, stitches are picked up around the armhole. The sleeve caps are shaped using German short rows. The sleeves are worked in the round. To finish the neckline, stitches are picked up, after which the ribbing is worked in the round.

The pattern includes instructions for horizontal bust darts. The darts are optional; instructions for a sweater with and without darts are given.
