Poncho is worked side to side for bottom sections, then stitches are picked up and worked across top (yoke) to shoulders.
When welts and lace are changing rapidly, you can carefully carry yarns up the side of the work. They should be camouflaged when you pick up stitches to work yoke.
Bamboo Pop gives this poncho fantastic drape. Fun to wear over a tank top and jeans, or transition into cooler weather by wearing over long sleeves and leggings.
