Sides are buttoned through eyelets in the stitch pattern, eliminating the need for buttonholes. Cable & lace stitch pattern forms scallops along the bottom edge.

For this pattern, rows 2 & 6 of the Feather & Fan Cable pattern (charted / left front-right back) are worked to the last 12 sts, not the last 15 sts.
