Sharon From Security, Kit Kit, and Phineas from Interpol are back for our yearly Mystery Knit-a-long and another adventure! It begins July 31, and there will be adult beverages of the alcoholic and non-alcoholic type. Smoking is heavily discouraged and you’re discouraged from emulating any behavior you may witness. SHARON, YOU’RE ON NOTICE.

There is a printout available that Sharon made to help you plan colors before you begin, so have fun playing around. As always, It is just a representation so please don’t inundate us with Top Ramen complaints.

Sharon here and I would never eat that shit. It’s 100% GANIC DUH.

There are 2 sizes - Average and XL. Note that if you decide to do the larger one but get tired at the end, you can revert to the Average sized design. Most of you, regardless of size, will be pretty happy with the Average Sized unless you always think our shawls are too small. You can also wait and buy a second set at the end if you still want it to be larger. There are also directions to make it a bit smaller for those who find our shawls too large.

Materials:

For the Average Sized shawl: If you like our normal size, and even many plus sized women do, this is your size.
One set of 10 Tabby Road Mini-skeins (80 yards each) from Miss Babs (shown at left), and one skein of 400 yards of fingering yarn in White Peppercorn - total of 1200 yards. The XS will use approximately. 60 yards of each mini. Kits are here.

For the XL+ get 2 sets of mini-skeins (20 total) plus one skein of 400 yards of fingering in White Peppercorn - total of 1600 yards. Kits are here.

If you don’t enjoy surprises, wait it out and see what people do each week in our Casapinka group! We don’t give much away because it’s a mystery.

FROM SHARON: The new crew member in the picture is bein trained. His name is Darrell and he’s a Specialist.

If you have questions, please ask in our Casapinka Ravelry Group here.

Color Order to help with stash diving: Light Blue, speckled light green, teal, gold, copper, speckled purple, light magenta (Hollyhock), Med Magenta (Ergosphere), dark magenta, Bright speckled pink.

Heavily variegated yarns here and there are ok but can obscure stitch patterns. Speckles are great.
