The Tae Shawl, like many traditional shawls, is knit from the top down, beginning with a tab -- in Tae’s case, stockinette rather than a garter tab. The shawl’s increases are spaced a bit differently than many top down shawls, forming sharper angles. The shawl can easily be worked in one single colorway, but you can achieve a stunning effect by using two colorways, one for the center section and the other for side sections.
