Pour imaginer Tamias, je me suis replongée dans le plaisir de tricoter et surtout porter un top d’été en maille. J’avais envie de renouveler l’expérience et de créer un nouveau modèle avec une coupe un peu similaire.

Tamias est donc une pièce en top-down, avec un gros motif chevron et des bretelles, plus ou moins fines en fonction de votre choix. Il est fin et fluide et pourtant tricoté dans une qualité de Worsted, qui est plutôt un gros fil (ce qui lui apporte un beau tombé). L’avantage d’être fait en coton, c’est qu’il est facile à enfiler avec nos tenues estivales : jupe légère, jeans, short, … Celui qui deviendra un basique.

Pour l’achat de ce patron, 2 fichiers PDF seront à vous : une version numérique avec photos et une version livret, la version pdf qui me sert pour l’impression des livrets pour les salons.

Mensurations :
Tour de poitrine (environ 8 à 10 cm d’aisance positive recommandée) : Gamme 1 - 86, 90, (94, 98, 102), 106, 110.
Gamme 2 - 113, 118, (123, 128, 134), 139, 145.

Echantillon : 18 mailles/28 rangs pour 10 cm en jersey.

Matériel : Aiguilles 4,5 mm ou aiguilles permettant d’obtenir le bon échantillon.
Crochet 4,5 pour le montage provisoire des bretelles.
1 marqueur pour marquer le début de rang, une aiguille annexe et une aiguille à laine.

Mon top crème est réalisé en taille 92 avec 5 pelotes de Coton égyptien (100% Coton égyptien) de chez The Yarn Lovers (105m. pour 50gr.) en coloris Camel.
Mon top bordeaux est réalisé en taille 92 avec 5 pelotes de Coton égyptien (100% Coton égyptien) de chez The Yarn Lovers (105m. pour 50gr.) en coloris Bordeaux.

Vous pouvez utiliser de la laine Worsted, tant que l’échantillon est respecté, en suivant le métrage suivant :

To create Tamias, I let myself indulge in the pleasure of knitting—and especially wearing—a knitted tank top. I wanted to recreate that experience and design a new pattern with a similar fit.

Tamias is a top-down tank top featuring a wide chevron motif and customisable straps, allowing you to choose the width that suits you best. It is a lightweight, drapey top, even though it is knit with a worsted-weight yarn, whose thickness gives the garment a beautiful structure.
Knitted in cotton, Tamias is easy to wear with all your summer outfits: a floaty skirt, a pair of jeans, a pair of shorts… It is sure to become a wardrobe staple.

Notions :
4.5 mm / US 7 circular needles or needles with which you get gauge.
4.5 mm crochet hook for the provisional cast on of the straps.
1 marker for the beginning of round, an auxiliary need and a tapestry needle.

Gauge : 18 sts /28 rows = 10 cm in stockinette st.

Yarn :

• My cream version was knit in size 92 using 5 balls of Coton égyptien (100% Egyptian cotton) from The Yarn Lovers (105m. for 50gr.) in the Camel colourway.
• My maroon version was knit in size 92 using 5 balls of Coton égyptien (100% Egyptian cotton) from The Yarn Lovers (105m. for 50gr.) in the Bordeaux colourway.

Given that you get gauge, you can use 1 strand of worsted or DK weight yarn, in the following meterage:
