Tea Time
Old fashioned tea time calls to mind a chance to use delicate tea cups and old family silver. A break in the afternoon to eat tasty biscuits and ask “one lump, or two?”
These pretty little lace mitts are perfect to wear to afternoon tea. What more could a lady wish for?
Construction Notes
A heavy lace pair of fingerless mitts with buttoned cuffs. The cuffs are knit first. Once finished stitches are picked up along one edge and the hand is worked in the round. An afterthought thumb is used so it doesn’t interrupt the lace pattern which covers the back of each hand.
