Teakettle Shawl
I designed this shawl with the cooler months in mind. I wanted to wear an intricate lace shawl, but also have some warmth around by neck. Chickadee by Quince and Co. was the perfect yarn for this. With just the right amount of twist, drape, and structure this yarn showcases your lacework while keeping you cozy and warm. And with a vast palette of beautiful colors available, you’re sure to find your perfect match.
With this shawl you’ll play with the following techniques:
- Picot Cast On
- simple lace charts
- short row shaping
While I highly recommend Chickadee by Quince and Co. in the “Poppy” color, any Sport/DK weight yarn will work with this pattern.
Happy Knitting!
