This is a simple wristlet I designed for my students, who wanted to explore granny squares, without making a granny square afghan. This is just one of several designs I worked on for them, to show them the power, the simplicity, and the beauty that is granny squares!

It features the humble granny square, and has a drawstring closure. This bag can be lined (directions for lining are not included) and used as a clutch, or used as is as a fun wristlet. I’ve been using it to store my “unmentionables” in my larger work bag (which gets searched every night as I leave). If you match my gauge, it also fits a CD perfectly, to use as a gift bag.
