GAUGE
The importance of a correct gauge cannot be emphasized
enough. Take the time to make a 10 cm/4” square swatch.
If you are going to spend a lot of time knitting a garment it is
important that you will be content with the result. If the
gauge is not right the garment will quickly become too
small, big or have the wrong shape. Change to smaller or
larger needles if the gauge is not right.
