This is a fun new way to make a temperature blanket!
Orderly monthly blocks with cute pattern on them and month number box in the corner! Pattern does have a variation that allows you to skip the month number box if you would prefer it that way ;)
Best part about this temperature blanket - daily task is rather small and different from previous day so you can easily catch up when you inevitably skip one or more days AND it does not get boring :) …

For me in winter temperatures are around zero, but if we get lucky there are at least two weeks of actual winter, snow and temperatures below -10°C and sometimes even -20°C ! So I have planned for those even though I’m not sure if I’ll get to use them.. For summer most of the time temperatures are below 30°C (usually around 27°C), but in recent years we’ve had some crazy days with 33°C so I’m adding one shade for over 30°C just to be safe and ready.

As this is unconventional Temperature blanket, We will also need embellishment yarn: For each month it would be different .. I choose it depending on expected temperatures - because it needs to pop ..

This pattern is 154 pages long. But do not let that discourage you!
It includes schematic for each block of the month and written instructions for each day of the year and more - so it is bound to be long.
And overlay crochet allows us to form beautiful patterns and we also have loads of fun with temperature yarns ;)
