“Tenue Chiarore (Soft Light)” is part of a collection inspired by the verses of the great poet from Trieste, Umberto Saba.
“Tenue Chiarore (Soft Light)” is a poncho with straight, formal lines softened by a diamond lace pattern. It is knit lengthwise and then folded and sewn. Finally, the stitches for the neckline are picked up and used to create a soft cowl neckline.

Finished measurements:
Neck: 60 (60, 64, 64) cm – 23 ¾ (23 ¾, 25 ¼, 25 ¼) inches circumference.
Longer side: 64 (64, 74, 74) cm – 25 ¼ (25 ¼, 29 ¼, 29 ¼) inches.
Shorter side: 48 (55, 61, 68) cm – 18 ¾ (21 ¾, 24, 26 ¾) inches.
Yarn and needles:
BORGO DE’ PAZZI Baby Alpaca (100% alpaca: 113 m – 124 yd / 50 gr – 1.76 oz. skein); 8 (9, 11, 12) skeins (870, 997, 1163, 1290 m – 952, 1091, 1271, 1411 yd).
Needles 4 mm – US 6 (optional).
Circular needles:
4 mm – US 6 with a 60 cm – 24 inches and 80 cm – 32 inches cable.
If necessary, please adjust needle size to obtain the specified gauge.
Other:
Tapestry needle.
Gauge:
18 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm – 4” in diamond stitch pattern (after blocking).

“Tenue Chiarore” fa parte della collezione ispirata ai versi del grande poeta triestino Umberto Saba.
“Tenue Chiarore” è un poncho lavorato longitudinalmente e poi cucito. Alla fine le maglie del collo vengono riprese e lavorate in tondo per formare un morbido collo ad anello.
Il poncho, dalle linee dritte e rigorose, viene movimentato da un motivo a rombi traforati.

Collo: 60 (60, 64, 64) cm di circonferenza.
Lato più lungo: 64 (64, 74, 74) cm.
