Terranova
The name of the game for this sweater design is simple, comfortable, easy to wear, flattering shape elevated with a touch of elegance through simple details. The cables start at the neckline and travel down the raglan all the way to the hem. The knitted on cable edgings all around the pretty boatneck and cuffs are such a neat alternative to ribbing. Simple details that add up to a perfectly elegant yet easy to wear sweater.
This sweater is knit seamlessly from the top down. The neckline is shaped with short rows and then the yoke is knit in the round. Sleeve stitches are set aside, underarm stitches are cast on and the body is completed. Sleeve stitches are then picked up and knit down to the cuff. Lastly, stitches are picked up around the neckline and the neck edge finishing is worked.
