This pattern is for a pair of cable lace socks. The lace stitch comes to us from Japan. There’s enough “give” to make them comfortable, but enough unusual lace (and small cable) to make them interesting to look at and fun to knit. The k1tbl/p1 ribbing also make them “stay up” on your leg. If you want them slouchy, use a k2/p2 ribbing on a one size larger needle.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting and purling, and a familiarity with lace).
The cable stitch is both written out and charted.
This pattern is written for 2 circular needles and is written for sizes Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large, and is sized by gauge. If you make a size L or XL, adjust your yarn to fit the needle size.
The socks were knitting in Malabrigo’s Sock yarn in colorway, Gris.
The socks shown in the sample were expertly tested by The socks were expertly test knitted by ktbowen18@msn.com.
This pattern is available here on Ravelry and in my Etsy shop in cabled sock section (https://www.etsy.com/shop/WearableArtEmporium?section_id=…)
