Tessellated pullovers are knit seamlessly from the top down with a houndstooth or herringbone colorwork pattern on the bodice of the sweater. The pattern includes charts for both versions.

CONTIGUOUS
Tessellated pullover is a sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down using the contiguous sleeve method developed by Susie Myers (SusieM on Ravelry.) The stranded color work is completely knit in the round. No purled stranding!

SHAPING
This sweater design includes waist shaping, and charts for waist shaping in pattern.
As with any sweater pattern, study the schematic to select your size and decide on modifications to the arm, waist or hip shaping. I recommend a couple of inches of ease at the waist. If your waist size is larger, you will work fewer waist shaping decreases, and then also fewer hip shaping increases. Some positive ease at the hips is recommend for a sweater that flows freely from the waist to the hips without bunching. It is very important that the knitter maintains a consistent gauge between the stranded and solid portions of the sweater.
