• If you’d like to make the hat in a different weight of yarn - or a different size from what we’ve planned for - you can modify the stitch count by multiples of 10 without disrupting the crown decreases.

• If you’d like to make the hat taller or slouchier, add another repeat of the cable pattern! Each cable repeat adds 1.5” / 4 cm to the height of the hat. Alternately, make the ribbing section longer.
