2nd pattern in booklet. This beanie is worked diagonally, then stitches are picked up along the long edge and the crown shaped. Pattern suggests correct tension is not essential for this beanie and that beanie is worked on smaller needles than usually recommended for these yarns.

Use appropriate needles for the yarn eg: 3.75mm for Totem 8 ply; 5mm for Jet 12 ply or Jet Pixel 12 ply; 6.5mm for Inca.

If using Totem 8 ply use 4 balls; Jet 12 ply or Jet Pixel 12 ply or Inca use 3 balls.
