Textured Leaf Mug Rug
Is it a mug rug? A coaster? A dishcloth? A face cloth? A spa cloth?
Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes.
A nice small gift to accompany a mug, a bar of soap, or some special dish-washing liquid.
Cotton, acrylic or wool yarn would all be suitable. A collection in a variety of fall colors would make a charming table decor.
Each leaf required approx. 20 grams/35 yards of yarn.
Gauge and exact needle size does not matter. Any size from US 6 to 9 will work--I used US 8.
Skills/stitches used; long-tail cast on, knitted cast on, chain-stitch crochet, knit, purl, M1 (Make 1) and slip 2-knit 1-psso.
