Textured Shawl

A shawl that can be layered and draped around the neck and shoulders for luxurious warmth. This pattern has the option included to work up in two possible weight options. Use yarn held double to create a luxuriously warm fabric with all the lightness of our heavy lace weight yarn, Meadow, or knit with just one strand for a weightless feel. A meditative knitting experience for your making, this piece includes simple increases and decreases to create texture for an accessory with a graphic but soft feel.

Foundations: The first wobbly scarf you knit and knotted proudly around your neck to keep out the cold. The handmade mittens you wore as a child, a gift from a beloved relative. When we think about the hours spent making those items, we understand that they are an act of love. It’s the time you set aside for your own creativity that day. It’s the way you felt as your beloved pulled on your hat as they left for work that day. Each stitch, a hidden wish. The gift of handmade is at the core of our latest series of design collections. We named it ‘Foundations’ because these are the building blocks for a lifelong hobby in which we can clothe ourselves and our loved ones in beautiful colours and texture.
