This pattern was designed with the aim of creating a quick and versatile cowl that runs up in a spare hour. Wear it as-is, doubled over to add extra warmth, or pulled up at the back and worn as slouchy hood to keep the chill off your ears. You’ll be surprised at just how fast you can make one, so why not make more and give a handmade gift to someone special this winter.

Materials Required:
50g chunky weight yarn in a plain colour
80g chunky weight yarn in a contrast colour
10mm hook
12mm hook

Note: Gauge is not vitally important for this project. The cowl is designed to be worn loose, and your stitches may vary depending on the properties of the yarn you choose. In the sample, I used 1 x 50g ball of Sirdar Click chunky for the plain colour, and around 80g of a 100g ball of unbranded chunky for the contrast.
