I set to find a stitch pattern that would emulate a shell shape. Once I had that down, I set out to make a dual purpose head accessory. I wanted the ends to have a bow like shape without having to tie a bow as well as a wider band to cover up that crazy travel hair that can happen! I also wanted a slimmer version that I could use just to keep the hair off my face as a headband.

The lace is impressive looking, but fairly simple, and in a small project it’s very accessible!
