The Alexis Blue Cowl

Alexis is one of my first knitting friends. She was the one who told me to post a scarf I had designed onto Ravelry. I thought she was nuts, it was a double knit scarf of sheet music, but I did and people actually knit it. Then I continued to design. I blame her for my pattern writing headaches and I thank her for pushing me to do something different and to keep persevering, even if the math refuses to cooperate.
This cowl is based on a smaller version of the Diamonds Hood Cowl. She knit it up in her favorite color and after I photographed it I begrudgingly gave it back to her! Thanks Alexis!

Periwinkle, 1 skein (115.5 yards used)

Gauge 26 sts and 42 rnds = 4” in pattern, lightly steam blocked
