This is lap/baby blanket was designed to do while we are all home flattening the COVID-19 curve. Those flattened curves can be seen outside. It has bright colors and dimension and wildlife for your safe space. Scenery can be worked in duplicate stitch, or if you are a more advanced knitter, you can work the larger areas in intarsia. If you don’t have blue and green in your stash, but have white and blue, make it winter. Have sand colors? Make a beach scene. Have fun with it and put a cat that doesn’t shed on Grandma’s lap. The design includes both Lap and Wheelchair sizes.
Wheelchair size uses 220 yds each of green and blue plus 330 yds of white or off-white.
Lap/baby size uses 300 yds each of green and blue plus 440 yds of white or off-white. Use up yarns of various colors from your stash for the duplicate stitch scenery.
Needles: Size US 7 (4.5mm) 32” circular needle or longer.
