Level: Beginner Knitter - ability to do cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, cast off (online video lesson provided)

Time to complete: 1-2 hours

Materials required - size 19 (15 mm) 20’’ (50 cm) or shorter circular knitting needles and one ball of chunky wool, such as Loopy Mango’s Merino No. 5 or substitute - 150 g - 74 yards (68 m - gauge: 4 stitches / 3 inches (7.5 cm), 4 rows/ 2 inches (5 cm).

This pattern includes the adult size as well as 4 children’s sizes (6 months to 11 years old). It also includes instruction on crafting two-tone pompoms.
