The Baby Bobble Blanket
This is an adorable baby blanket studded with bobbles that make up a cute and quirky pattern.
This pattern includes a free video tutorial that goes into detailed step-by-step instructions, including how to knit a bobble and how to customise the size of the blanket.
Yarn Recommendations
Consider a Superwash wool, cotton, acrylic or bamboo yarn. These fibres can be washed in the washing machine, which makes cleaning much easier.
Finished Measurements
Size before blocking: 27” (w) x 33” (h)
Size after blocking: 29” (w) x 36” (h)
Customising the Size
This blanket is sized for a baby, but it can be made smaller or larger. To change the width of the blanket, cast on a multiple of 6+1.
This means you’ll choose a number that is a multiple of 6 (ie. 32, 64, 120 etc.) and add 1 to it.
This is the number you will cast on (ie. 33, 65, 121).
