The Basalt set is a wonderful, beginner friendly project. Much like the classic game of rock skipping, the garter ridges reminded me of the jumps that are created in the water as you skip stones. Soft, flat, basalt rocks are perfect for getting the best skips.

This cowl only uses knit stitches with special instructions for the first and last stitches to create a beautiful edge. A great project for beginners through experienced knitters who just want a quick and mindless pattern. It’s also a perfect pattern for on-the-go knitting or night time TV binging. Construction: Knit flat and seamed with a very simple seaming method to create a pretty exposed seam on the right side.
