YARN
Julie Asselin Leizu DK Mini Skeins Bundle (90% SW Merino, 10% Silk; 7 mini skeins x 40 yards each = 280 yards / 256 meters / 125 grams per bundle): 1 bundle in desired colour. Sample hat used “Bundle A”.
OR approx. 160 yards / 145 meters (190 yards / 175 meters) of a similar DK yarn in any number of colours. Sample hat was knit in S/M and used 155 yards / 140 meters.

NEEDLES
Size US 4 (3.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular needle (ribbing, body).
Size US 4 (3.5 mm) double-pointed needles x4 (crown).

GAUGE
22 stitches & 42 rounds = 4” (10 cm) in Seed Stitch.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
S/M: 19” (48 cm) circumference x 7.75” (20 cm) height; to fit approx. 21-22” (53-56 cm) head circumference.
L: 20.75” (53 cm) circumference x 8.25” (21 cm) height; to fit approx. 22.5-23.5” (57-60 cm) head circumference.
