The Beehive-Jive is a luxurious, feather-weight (125gr) and surprisingly warm poncho due to the soft and insulating alpaca fibre.
It has a gorgeous soft halo and flows and drapes elegantly around the body.
It’s easy to knit and a delight to wear.

The knit is very loose so if you’re a tight knitter you may need to up the needle size.
The poncho is worked in the round and mostly knitted with an exceptional row of purling here and there.

The bottom part of the poncho is made out of lace. Nothing difficult though. There is a description and a little chart. If you can do a yarn over and knit stitches together you can manage.

This pattern is suitable for sizes S-XL.
Length: 21.6”/55cm, Neckline: 34,7”/88cm, Bottom is 91,3”/232cm.
With the cord you can adjust the neckline. The length is adjustable by adding more rows of lace.

This poncho will look great with any good quality brushed alpaca or mohair with silk in two contrasting colors.

The poncho in pink and grey is made of Fonty Suri (75% Alpaca, 25% silk) 125m(136Yrd) /25 gr. (3 balls of each color)

The white and grey poncho is made of Drops brushed alpaca with silk. (3 balls natural and 2 balls grey)
