The Blue Egg - Ägget Blått - was originally designed by Bohus Stickning designer Kerstin Olsson in 1963 and was recreated by Pernille Silfverberg in 2018.
To recreate the Blue Egg original charts were closely studied and vintage garments carefully examined in museums and private collections to make sure that the resulting patterns and yarns would match the original Bohus Stickning garments as closely as possible.

The Blue Egg is part of a family of Eggs including The Egg, The Gray Egg, Myrtle Green, and New Azalea.
