The Coaster of Hearts pattern is perfect for a last-minute Valentine’s day gift. It’s worked in the round and created using just one stitch: single crochet (US terms).

Yarn

Knitcraft Cotton Blend DK (8 Ply)
13g / 28 m / 30 yards in Coral
7g / 15 m / 16 yards In Hot Pink

Substitute for any other yarn in 8 Ply. This cotton blend washes well, which is why I used it for this coaster.

Hook

3 mm (US C/2 or D/3)
Use a 4 mm if you prefer, I tend to like my crochet to work up tightly.

Sewing needle to sew in ends
Scissors
