This menswear-inspired cardigan features a beautiful tailored shoulder, a gorgeous folded ribbed collar, set-in sleeves, and a perfect fit.

First, the back and shoulders are worked flat and shaped with short rows to create a tailored shoulder. Then, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, and the rest of the yoke is worked as one.

You can choose to work your cardigan flat or in the round and steek it later on. The pattern includes instructions to work both and a link to a video tutorial to work the steek using the ‘felted steek’ technique.

The shawl collar is worked at the end and shaped with short rows. The sleeves are worked seamlessly in the round to end and sweet duffle buttons are added for an extra charming touch.
