A more advanced level pattern for making this amulet purse necklace. The pattern requires basic knitting techniques such as casting on, knitting garter stitch and binding off, basic bead stringing techniques and hand sewing. Finished size of purse is approximately 2 3/4 x 3 inches. Necklace strap is approximately 36 inches and can be embellished with additional accent beads. Fringe at bottom of purse also uses accent beads. purse is knit in two pieces and assembled. Materials to make this purse are 0000 knitting needles, size 11/0 seed beads in two colors and two colors of size 8 pearl cotton thread. Gauge is not important.
