TELL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS to beware. If you become captivated with tams and try all of the different options presented here, they may be drowning in these hats—so they’d be wise to learn to appreciate the subtle differences as much as you do. In this innocent-looking chart, Ann Budd presents tams knitted from brim to crown sized from infant to adult in six gauges, with four options for brim styles, six decorative top decreases, and five crown
embellishments.

months, 18 months–4 years, 4 years–adult small, adult medium, adult large).
