This E-Book contains 24 separate afghan squares from all over the world, including but not limited to Japan, the Shetland Islands and Canada. Each square is both pictured and charted out. (Note: No square is written out).

The book can be used as a tool for making a single cabled pillow or a king sized bed afghan. Mixing and matching the cables is half the fun.

All the squares are knitted using Handmaiden of Canada’s Organic Chinook yarn, which is a light worsted weight yarn.
Using this yarn, each square is 8 1/2 inches x 13 inches. Each square is finished with an optional crocheted edging (and this is the ONLY crochet in the book.) However, each square can be put together in various ways, including the mattress stitch. As a blanket, it can also be finished in various ways including the Garter or Seed Stitch.

The Skill Level Varies from Square to square, but if you enjoy cabling you will find many squares in this book that you can both knit and enjoy.

All of the squares were expertly tested by Teddi Sherrill who collaborated in writing this book.
