“The Happy Hat” seemed like the logical name for this design because people tell me that it makes them feel happy when they see it. Of course, all these bright colors can lift anyone’s spirits!

11 colors of various amounts are used in this hat - all of them from my leftover stash of Cascade 220. A chart is included showing which colors the sample was made with, but you can certainly choose your own colors and make the hat truly one of a kind.

U.S. 6 (4.0 mm) dp needles and a 16” circular are needed - or whichever size will give you the correct gauge.

The hat is designed with “negative” ease to keep it from slipping up and down and to fit snuggly.
